Aidan Rooney has resumed the role of CEO and managing director at Vehicle Vision, the automotive video software provider he founded in 2012.
The move follows the departure of Steve Dean, who has returned to the car retailing sector as operations director of Norton Way Group. Dean will remain with Vehicle Vision in a non-executive director role as the business gets set to launch a new product and move into new markets with its Assist video appraisal tool.
“Over the last five years Steve Dean has made an invaluable contribution to the growth of Vehicle Vision, we wish him every success at Norton Way Group and look forward to continuing working with him in his role as a non-executive director,” said Rooney.
“After a record breaking year in 2022, including a 327% increase in adoption of our Assist product, I’m looking forward to leading Vehicle Vision once again in what promises to be a busy time as we further expand our services to car retailers and OEMs and grow our footprint in the UK and abroad,” he said.
More recently Rooney has been focused on driving the rollout of Vehicle Vision’s new services as product director.
“We’ve always been about our product and will continue to enhance our offering further as a software provider. The business has grown and is stronger than ever with revenue, adoption and the product suite all increasing. Exciting times are ahead,” said Rooney.
